I have not been asked to do a review and don’t normally do stuff like this. But there I was living in a new area where I knew no one closer than a 12 min drive away with 2 teens who do their own thing, but sitting on the sofa under a pile of Christmas chocolates contemplating the coming year. And then I see a Calling all Finchley Ladies FB video. In a moment of impulse (often the best decisions are made like that) I made contact. Few days later I am at my first Build class at 7am and haven’t looked back since.

It’s been around a month on my initial 6 week trial and I actually am LOVING it and organising my work and socials around it!
It’s a diverse clientele in every way, training is excellent and in small groups, the coach’s are as diverse but all are attentive -correcting form, giving advice, alternatives and always motivating.
I contemplated staying in my former ‘health club’ which has some merits but is insanely expensive, impersonal & faceless, with coaches who cannot be as present with a group of 30, as they can be with a group of 12 max!

For context - I went from doing nothing physical in this past year to around 5 sessions a week for the last month. Already I have gains in body shape, strength, flexibility, physical agility and importantly general MH & wellbeing! Today I surprised myself at how long I could plank which was a shocking improvement from 3 weeks ago ….causing the coach to put a weight on my back to challenge me further. No coach has ever suggested or I have done ever it before, nor would I have tried myself!
